Our first stop on Slow Magic’s Europe tour was in Helsinki. We hadn’t been to Helsinki in a couple of years so it was exciting to go back and explore.
Our first day there was kind of a sleepy haze… we got in sometime in the early afternoon and went directly to the hotel. Even though we were super exhausted, we decided it would be best to go out and get on a normal schedule so after washing my face and changing, we wandered around looking for food but every place we went to seemed to be closed. Eventually we found a place that had vegan options and it happened to be owned by the same person who owned the venue we were playing at the next day. After dinner, we walked over to the Helsinki Cathedral so Slow Magic could take a pic. The cathedral is located near a main shopping area so afterwards we walked to H&M so I could buy sunglasses. We then slept for a ridiculous amount of time and when we woke up we walked over to a food hall across from the kind of weird hotel we were staying at. There wasn’t much to eat there so after taking a few pics we went to a sushi restaurant and got a few vegetable rolls before heading to the venue. The show went well, with the exception of a few technical difficulties during soundcheck. The next day we flew to Sweden 🇸🇪
