April 5th - 11th
From Columbus, we drove to Madison, WI for the next show (I was too sick to go to the show) and then right after the show, Slow Magic and Anton picked me up from the hotel where I was staying and we started our drive to Detroit. After the show in Detroit ended, we started the drive to Colorado. Along the way, Anton realized that Tennyson, who was also on tour, would be passing us on the highway so we stopped and hung out with them for a little.
When we got to Colorado about two days later, I was still sick and very much in need of a few days off. The weather was so weird while we were there…the first day was in the upper 70s and sunny but then the next day was a full on blizzard. SM and I love snow and at first we were excited by the storm, especially because it was so pretty, but when we tried driving to go get supplies it was actually so scary (it did force me to rest and get better). The next day was the day of the Boulder show and all of the blizzard seemed to have cleared up…it was so all over the place. Either way, the show was so much fun and it turned out to be one of my favorite shows of the tour (my other favorites were..Burlington, Phoenix, and Orlando). At the show I sold merch, which is something I haven’t done in forever and is something that I am usually not that into doing but I had a friend helping me and I had such a good time (it is seriously so nice getting to meet and talk to people). After the show we went out for food before heading to our hotel. In the morning…afternoon, we started our drive back to Phoenix for a few days off.
